Welcome to DriverSafe

Driving is a risky business.

Government sponsored research estimates that up to a third of all road traffic accidents involve someone who is at work at the time. This equates to over 20 fatalities and 250 serious injuries every week.

Put into context, the HSC Statistics of Fatal Injuries for the whole of 2005/6 puts the number of workers fatally injured in that year at 212, an average of 4 fatalities a week.

Driver Risk Assessment

Training is the proven, most effective method of reducing a driver's risk of accident. As human factors contribute to around 95% of road traffic accidents, it makes sense to tailor training needs according to a driver's strengths and weaknesses. An effective tool for profiling driver behaviour, attitude and driving habits is a Driver Risk Assessment.

The unique profile generated by a Driver Risk Assessment is used to ensure that each individual receives training that is most appropriate to requirements.

This interactive assessment is based primarily on multiple-choice answers to a series of on-screen questions and can be completed in approximately 15-20 minutes.
