How it Works

DriverSafe is not a psychometric test. There are no trick questions and we will not create your psychological profile. DriverSafe is purely risk assessment.

Research has proven that the risk of a person being involved in an accident is significantly increased by many contributory factors associated with the person, vehicle and driving environment. Some of these are listed below:

  • Age and driving experience
  • Work related driving risk (mileage, hours on the road, types of road, etc.)
  • Vehicle maintenance and roadworthiness
  • Attitude and behaviour
    • Speeding
    • Distractions (drinking, eating, music, smoking, reading maps, etc.)
    • Tiredness / fatigue
    • Driving at night
    • Overtaking
    • Attitude, behaviour and reaction of other road users
  • Stress and disposition
  • Violation

By assessing the responses to targeted questions an overall assessment of the road risk exposure is made. A report is produced that advises the driver on ways in which their risk of being involved in traffic related accidents can be reduced.
